Who is Brad Parler?
Ordinary guy who makes extraordinary things on a regular occurrence.
Everyday I wake up and strive to do all I can to rid the world of boring media. I was raised with technology by parents who loved and encouraged me to explore, create and challenge the status quo. I think of myself as an accidental technologist- one who can see the underlying connections that an app, tool, or gadget can bring to an unexpected audience.
Presently I serve as the Digital Communications Administrator at Blinds.com, the world’s largest online window covering store that was recently acquired by The Home Depot. As a veteran of video and broadcast design and digital technology, I draw from over 15 years of experience with one foot firmly planted in the world of video production and the other planted in the world of Internet Technology.
In my current role, I have achieved national industry attention with my innovative take on displaying relevant data in beautiful and easy-to-understand ways. I have conceptualized, built and actively maintains the graphics and HD video-rich internal corporate communications network that includes over 70 large format displays and two large video walls.
I am proud to be a father of four with a love of all things technology, caffeine and great looking facial hair (ask me about what major social network’s logo was re-designed to include my handlebar mustache for a day!), as well as testing geeky wellness experiments.
